Our big little story 

We wanted to take a moment to share a little bit of our story and send a huge thank you to all our old friends and new ones joining us on this wild and beautiful ride. We're so glad you’re here! Horse Mom is a proudly New Zealand owned and operated family business run by my partner and me.
 

Before Horse Mom, I ran a business called RainbowReinz, handcrafting riding reins with my sisters in our family home. It was chaotic, colourful, and full of laughs. But as I grew older and my personal style evolved, so did my dreams. I wanted to create a brand that truly reflected the style and values I’d want to buy from and support as an equestrian.
 

From the start, every piece was tested to survive the ride through early mornings, muddy boots, and long days at the stables. Along the way, we discovered and implemented cutting-edge plating techniques to ensure each piece could handle daily wear while staying true to the spirit of the ride.
 

What began as a small idea at home has grown into something much bigger. Horse Mom is about connection, confidence, and celebrating the ups, downs, and downright funny moments of equestrian life together.
 

Getting to know so many of you along the way has been one of the best parts of this journey. Honestly, I feel like we’ve built a little equestrian family, one that cheers each other on and always has room for one more.
